Can I send a request to ChatGPT via an API?

As far as I know, ChatGPT does not yet provide official APIs.

There's no official API yet, and OpenAI is usually pretty slow to do so due to "ethics concerns". There are a couple of unofficial ones, but do be warned, you can get banned if OpenAI finds out. If you're curious, I'm currently developing an API for BLOOM (a GPT-3 alternative). Link to my twitter is in my bio so you can find out more about it there.
