I wanted to check if any product hunters have used a gif logo before and if you did.. does it bring more attention to your page? or it’s merely an aesthetic application.
I've seen some product hunters use GIF logos effectively to draw attention to their products, especially when the movement of the logo relates to the product or its features. It's like adding a touch of creativity and interactivity to your branding.
If you're considering using a GIF logo, I'd recommend testing it out and monitoring the response. It could be a fun and effective way to make your product more memorable on Product Hunt.
@jgani it took about an hour or so, as I had some confusion between multiple options. If you are sure about how your gif should look, then it will take only a few minutes :)
Using a GIF logo on Product Hunt can capture more attention by adding motion and visual interest, potentially increasing engagement and standing out amidst static logos. However, its effectiveness may vary based on the quality of the animation and relevance to the product, as well as user preferences for animated content.
I just assumed that everyone uses it. We did during our previous launch and I’ve already added one for the new product page. Honestly don’t know what difference it makes but it’s kind of a thing on PH. I guess it’s more attention grabbing.
Certainly! GIF logos on Product Hunt can capture attention with their dynamic and eye-catching nature, but effectiveness is key. A well-executed design avoids messiness, ensuring clarity over confusion.
