Depends on how shit I've been during the week, to put it bluntly.
This week sucked and I recognized it sucked.
Could sugar coat it and say it's because I moved houses, or I could be honest and say I was lazy.
So I'm working this weekend. But I still make time to relax.
@edgarsgriga Nah I think you're right. Going into a flow state can be taxing but if you enjoy it is it really a "flow state" or were you just having fun?
Now that I'm doing something that I don't associate as "work" I'm finding it increasingly difficult to switch off. I constantly find myself wanting to complete more tasks and get a head start on the week. Any tips to create and maintain that boundary?

I use an app called "Awareness," and whenever the time is over, I move on to the next task.
It's difficult, but I force myself.

Just a free app on the Mac App Store. I believe there are dozens of other tools available.
It's all about discipline, whatever works for you to stay on schedule.

That's a good approach.
I find myself overworking and doing more than I should, often forgetting to rest.
However, it's crucial to do so; otherwise, burnout is just around the corner (based on past experience).
Weekends are more relax but I can't waste those precious uninterrupted work hours. Its the perfect time to work on something light or that you've been delaying. I live with roomates so I get enough social interactions anyways :)
