It will be different. How long have people been talking about the end of SEO? Could AI be the actual killer? Maybe.
But SEO could be the tool AI uses to recommend or give answers so it could be just as powerful.
I don't think SEO will disappear, but I think AI will give better insights and results. I'm currently listening to an marketing book called Join or Die where the author goes into detail about SEO and I thinks it's here to stay. I think AI will be used as a catalyst, tool, and helper for SEO rather than taking it over.
Very interesting topic. I’m more in the camp of evolution and refinement. I don’t think it will disappear but marketers will need to make sure they understand AI capabilities as it pertains to search. I really think AI is going to force rapid technological evolution in a variety of fields
@alessio_mavica I don’t think it will, at least not for a long while. Think about it this way. How long have mobile phones been out and available at cheap costs free even? No need for land line phone right? But still we have a lot of people and businesses still using land line phones. There is a use for it.
No it will evolve.
It will be harder to get results as there is more competition on content.
The key to SEO success will now be backlinks. Tool like All-in-One SEO Suite and Ahref will play a key role to help find relevant backlinks.
No, it's unlikely that SEO (Search Engine Optimization) will disappear because of AI. In fact, AI is increasingly used to enhance and optimize SEO strategies. AI technologies, such as natural language processing and machine learning algorithms, can help improve search engine rankings, refine content strategies, and enhance the overall user experience. SEO professionals will likely continue to adapt and integrate AI tools to stay competitive and improve their online presence.
Personally I think of AI as an enhancement tool. SEO will change because of it, but it will not kill it. I’m not 100% sure where all data for AI comes from, but having relevant content on your website can never be a bad thing.
Do you believe search engines will assign a ranking to your webpage based on its overall content, including images, code, frames, etc.? In theory, metadata might become less relevant in such a scenario, in my opinion.
Interesting perspectives! I agree that SEO won't disappear but will evolve with AI integration. AI can enhance SEO by providing deeper insights into user behavior and preferences, leading to more tailored content strategies. However, the fundamentals of SEO, like quality content and user experience, will remain crucial. AI might change how we approach these elements, but it won't render them obsolete. How do you think AI could complement traditional SEO practices to create a more dynamic web experience?
I have launched a GPTs navigation website: GPTBLOX, aggregating and categorizing 8,000+ GPTs. Considering the evolving landscape of SEO and AI, how do you see these GPTs aiding in the future of SEO strategy development?
