It's great to see new discussions and stay updated with what other makers are talking about in the fast-moving world of AI. So, I think the new discussion algorithm is a good move.

I'm new to using the platform from a posting/engagement pov. Was a long-time lurker without an account. Was the discussion algorithm purely based on the highest upvoted discussions previously? If so, I definitely think this is a great way to do it for recently made accounts/new posters.

Honestly I initially thought that it shows discussions in chronological order and then realised that to show the "new" ones, I need to set a filter. I think it's good and really helpful for showing new discussions as you can see the new content
