Yes, memes are invaluable for increasing interaction on social media. Sometimes, despite creating highly creative posts, they might get overlooked if they appear too promotional. With memes, even reluctant viewers tend to pause and engage, thereby increasing the likelihood of them actually reading our content. This, in turn, boosts our post-engagement metrics.
Currently, I primarily source memes from regular Google searches. We're actively working on establishing our own meme platform called 'Memepur.' The platform is designed to be a hub for generating hilarious memes. You can preview the web design on Dribbble here: https://dribbble.com/shots/23459...
Depends on the brand I'm using. My NFT project - yes, it's natural and part of that ecosystem. For my wallet brand, not so much. I recently thought of launching a new product with only memes (about lost wallets) for a wallet tracker I am creating.
I see this as a pretty easy and fun way to engage with your community. Of course it depends a lot on what kind of communication you established with people and how they respond to it.
I am very happy about our community at Klu.so, we can joke, we can post memes, and people engage a lot, and they love it.
Yes, mainly for IG, TikTok and Youtube (shorts). It's a great way to get engagement, it might not bring much leads, but it brings followers that will be exposed to other types of contents that may resemble with them, with some struggle they face. Also a great meme can get viral and be shared a lot, so it's also about reach and visibility.
But then use that awareness to guide them into the funnel.
I love memes, but they hard to get really gd. usually I make them when a really gd idea comes along. I love the Beckhams meme template right now. Easy to frame gd jokes with.
