What I'm building at www.faye.xyz: a Web3 customer support helpdesk How I would explain to a 5-year old: I'm building a place on the computer where you can ask questions or get help when you have a problem with something you're using on the internet. Just like when you have a question in school and you ask your teacher for help, It give you answers and fix any issues you might have while buying and selling online.

Good exercise @samuel_tf_lam . Lemme try my best :) I'm a Product Manager at https://www.klamp.io/klamp-lite . klamp is like a bridge that connects different places despite the places maybe separated by river, canal, sea and so on. Just like you use that bridge to drive from one coast to another, people in business can use klamp, the bridge, to drive their data from one application to another.

Wow, this is a great exercise! my son is 7 years old, but this is what I was explaining to him the other day about my product - AI-powered test case generator for QA: - Remember, mommy used to sit at her laptop all day long and write big tables of test cases and checklists? Now all these tables are created by this magic product in just a few minutes, and mommy spends most of her time with you, isn't that amazing?

That sounds like an amazing project that will make it easier for people to get help and find answers when using the internet!

Desktop: Use your Mac by speaking to it, just like you speak to your friends & parents. No more clicking around on the keyboard & mouse :) iPad & iOS: ever wonder what Siri would be like if it were actually good?

@kimberley_lattanzio @samuel_tf_lam i know some 5 year old that would give people a masterclass if asked what siri is hahah
Explaining a generative AI design platform, Sivi.ai to a 5 yr old: You know how you will use your craft box to write, decorate “lemonade for sale” on piece of paper and place it on the table, or how you will draw a cookie and milk glass next to each other and add glitter to the paper to make it look nice? Well, Sivi.ai is like a super-smart craft box . But instead of you drawing things, you can just write it and it uses pictures, words, and ideas. You tell it what you want to make, like a lemonade poster and it will create it for you! It's like having a magical artist friend who can draw and decorate anything you can imagine. This is such a fun exercise...

I'm creating a special computer helper that can answer your questions and fix any problems you might have when you're using the internet to buy or sell things, just like having a teacher to help you in school.

You know how people use social media like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to share fun pictures, videos, and messages? Well, sometimes it can be hard for busy grown-ups to create the content and keep track of all the comments and messages they get on those platforms. That's where Followr.ai comes in! We're building a special tool that helps people manage their social media in one place. It's like having a magic hub where you can create all the posts, schedule them in your calendar and see all the comments and messages from your friends and followers. You can even reply to them and answer their questions right from our platform. But here's the really cool part: we're using something called Artificial Intelligence, which is like having a super-smart computer helper. Our AI can even help you come up with answers to questions! It's like having a friend who knows everything about social media and can help you be really good at it. So, with Followr.ai, grown-ups can have an easier time managing their social media, talking to their friends, and being awesome on the internet. It's like having a special superpower for social media!" I hope this explanation helps make Followr.ai understandable and exciting for a young child!

This is what I'd say to a 5 year-old child : You don't have to write by hand like you do at school. It's as if you had a teacher or a classmate who took care of writing for you. Here, he's called https://www.noota.io/ and he records and translates into text what's said in a video or call so that you can understand everything that's happened in just a few lines :)

Call me crazy Sam but you just gave a great answer in your question .., that was a great explanation to him about their teachers help

"You know when you go in a store and want to buy a toy. If a toy is very, very up high in a shelf you can't see it, so you don't buy it. You don't know it's there right? But how do the people that work in the store know what toys to put next to you, in the shelves you can get to? They try different ones, and see what works best to sell more toys. Because that's what toy stores want, to sell more toys to you and your friends. So what I build lets people in toy stores, and all other stores, and even in the internet, do different experiments like that and make them sell more stuff, so everyone can find exactly what they need much faster, just like the toys you like." I'm building Uptiq a SaaS for growth teams to do better experimentation, tracking and collaboration. (I wrote this and am now realizing kids nowadays probably download more apps than buy toys... Oh well xD)
Venessa Perez
@nuno_ms_reis I "borrow" people's heights in store all the time. Love the sentiment of making things more accessible for smaller teams.
I'm building a platform where you can easily check your crypto investment without spending hours on research! We flag scams and help you assess the risks involved with investing in a specific project.

This is fun! What I'm building at www.writeitapp.co.uk : A Social Media platform for Stories. How I would explain it to a 5-year old: You know all the stories you tell everyone everyday about what happened at the park, at school or with your friends playing out? I built something so that you can tell that same story on the internet so everyone can read it and get to know you better through your stories! You can also read and listen to everyone else's stories too, people from all around the world! and you can become friends with them! Unfortunately the 5-year old won't be allowed to use WriteIt, they're too young 😂
Shayan Norizadeh
@samuel_tf_lam Surely is, at the moment we are nowhere near those implementations. Soon though hopefully. Just need to get the ball rolling with adult users first 🥲

I'm building a tool so your parents that work in a web agency can spend more time with you and afford fancy vacations in a few clics! :)

We built an AI engine that will allow you to talk to astronauts about what it is like in space, or ask your great grandparents about what it was like for them to be a kid. It is as simple as recording a video and using a video chat, then your video conversations can be preserved forever.
Valorie Jones
@samuel_tf_lam we have our own recording and AI platform called Conversa. You can hook up your webcam or other video input. https://www.producthunt.com/prod...

Imagine you have a big toy robot, who can talk to you. You can ask it questions, and it tries to answer in the best way it can. But, how does it know how to answer? That's because it has been taught to understand and use words just like you learn in school. The course I'm creating with @felix_digistash is like a special school for adults where they learn to teach this robot, so it can become even better at talking and answering questions. They will learn how to make it understand different types of questions, tell interesting stories, and even help with work stuff. Our product is coming soon! :D

Here's how I would explain what I am building. Logomakerr.ai is like having a magical drawing friend who can create logos for you! It's a special computer program that uses its super smart brain to come up with cool and unique logos in just a few minutes. It's like having an artistic robot friend who helps you make your brand look awesome and stand out from others!

At https://duckist.com: I'm building a secure-web where people can share sensitive information safe and secure. How I would explain to a 5-year old: There's a special website called Duckist.com. It helps people share secrets like passwords and messages in a safe way. It uses a special lock to keep the secrets private, so only the right person can see them. The secrets disappear after a little while, like magic! Even if someone tries to take them, they just see a message that says, "Oops! The secret is gone!" So, Duckist.com keeps secrets safe and makes sure only the right person can see them. Pretty cool, huh?

Awesome idea! How I would explain Velbi to 5 year old: Linda is helping people like a teacher helps kids in school with math or writing, but Linda helps with feelings. Because sometimes, adults need help to understand what they are feeling like children need help with numbers and letters. Everyone should invite Linda to their companies so doing things together gets easier. And the plus side is that then they have more fun together.
