How are FB ads performing for you lately? Are you exploring any other channels?
For us, FB ads have gone to hell haha, thats why we are actively testing new channels (including ProductHunt, we just launched today).
Hey! I have worked with Facebook ads 1 time. It was effective. at the moment my ad account was blocked for no reason, getting an answer is a problem. Therefore, I use social media, influencers, bloggers.
Facebook is repulsive with its complexity and large list of advertising requirements. But if you have a complex product, Facebook will most effectively select an audience for you.
Our team has tried FB ads, but we didnât have a large enough budget and didnât see any success with it. I think if we had committed to creating better lists we could have seen better results.
Now we rely on Shopify ads and influencer marketing.
@forst manually at the moment. Our creative director and her intern ran a large influencer research project, diving deep into tik tok and Instagram for a few months, and reaching out manually. Through trial and error we figured out the right creative brief and right influencers and audience. Itâs been awesome for our growth and awareness though! Totally worth it.
Facebook ads have never worked for me, even though they seem to work for everyone else, maybe it is my targeting or how I set them up - not sure, but planning to give them another try.
What worked initially was Google adwords - however the problem with them, it seems like you are always chasing a moving target. The cost of advertising is constantly going up and if you are in a competitive industry, then you just cant afford them.
What I am doing is building good SEO basics to generate organic traffic, since I started an SEO strategy, I am starting to get consistent traffic, its not a lot - but consistent and grows over time as you invest in good content and links.
