Feedback on my newsletter about "early startup traction"

Hey everyone! I've been working on a Substack called "Traction" that's all about how founders got their earliest traction. They reveal stories, tips, and advice so that others can get their projects off the ground. So far I've talked to 3 founders and have a handful lined up. The feedback has mostly been positive but I'm looking for ways to make it better. Questions: - Do you like the format? - How is the length? - What additional kinds of content could I create to add value? Open to any and all feedback - thanks everyone! Just had a quick look at the 3 interviews and the Journey one is the strongest in terms of format (quickly and easily digestible) and length. Left me wanting more. I guess the only other content would be more visuals of the interviewee's actual site, particularly Journey, as I couldn't visualise what it looked like if its not a pic or video. But that's minor.

In terms of the "wanting more" part, do you think there'd be any value in me taking some of these and breaking down (doing analysis) on certain tactics and strategies? Makes total sense regarding the images. I need to include more illustrations and images all around. Appreciate your feedback! Don't hesitate to provide more or reach out.

@joshvoydik Hi Josh, great to help! And re: wanting more, I think if it's any longer it might be too much, it's peaked my interest and has me waiting for the next one! But I could be interesting to break down one segment or tactic that one business does better in one interview over another, so it's a sort of deep dive section that changes each article. Otherwise I think its got legs!

A few thoughts: Format is good. Could add images or gifs. I think the content is okay in most cases. The bullet list of 41 tips had a good format but the content wasn't as sticky as your interviews. Length is fine. If Traction's goal is to help founders get their earliest traction (so literally someone like me), I'd want to see content like this: - guides with clear steps followed and images - things to watch out for / why certain tactics work while others don't - expectations around how long it might take that channel to work - where to learn more about that channel + see additional case studies on the same topic I'd also like posts to provide an in-depth review of one technique. The ideal scenario is that one post has everything I need to literally go and try that same tactic for myself over a weekend. Hope that helps! All the best.
