Founders, how did you meet your cofounders?

I met mine in my previous companies. We made sure we can work together before committing :) How about you?

I met my co-founder at a tech meetup event where we instantly connected over our shared passion for AI and decided to turn our ideas into reality; it was like finding a needle in a haystack but so worth it!

Workinstartups & Foundersnation are beautifully out of date sites that work for finding co-founders. Always make sure your co-founder has the same passion for the project and work ethic.

I met mine through YC's Cofounder matching platform.

@uma_venugopal I tried YC's matching platform with no luck. I turned to Linkedin and was able to land my Cofounder that has gotten to place anticipating our Launch of the first half of our marketplace for sign-ups come July 17th

After three startups, I can say that it is not important where you met your co-founder but how your adventure ended :) The first co-founder was my classmate, and the second was a friend from university. But the real partnership began when a former employee became my co-founder. When you've been through a lot of hardships together, it's more important than just being a "friend."

@nickanisimov after meet your cofounder, do you usually take a legal partnership also ?

We are 5 co-founders at Lampi. 3 friends for years. The 4th joined us thanks to a common friend and the latest joined us thanks to the 4th :)

@guillaume_lampi_ai wow 5 co-founder isn't that too crowded ? May I know the co-founder composition role of them?
Guillaume C
@ammanahalfian It works fine for now but yes, it's not so common. Sure, we have complementary skills: 2 chief engineers with more +20y of experience + UI/UX designer / one ex-lawyer / and me with a background in tech consulting and M&A :)

At a startup company called Trustwork. I was the 4th developer hired and he was on the business development side. Great way to meet people with complementary skillsets.

Startup School YC, after connecting with 150 folks across the globe, got my shining star.

Through an acceleration program that focuses exactly on that. They are actually a VC who's model is to run accelerators, join people and then from the created teams select which ones they'll invest in. That's what gave birth to https://uptiq.app/ and what helped us get started in this world of helping accelerators with our product for growth! You can check it at antler.co

After countless coffee shop encounters and spirited tech meetups, I finally stumbled upon my brilliant co-founder at a startup hackathon - our shared passion for creating something unique led to a bond that became the backbone of our enterprise!

Originally on a philosophy forum and eventually discovered that we both shared a mutual respect and passion for agriculture.

Through Linkedin Cold DM. All things considered, I'm blessed to have the perfect Cofounder to have us in a place anticipating our Launch of the first half of our Marketplace for sign-ups come July 17th Funny story, the first prospect I met was on the founding team of Apple Pay. Turned out he had left to work on his own startup before I had reached out We remain really close friends today!
