Have you ever found yourself procrastinating or losing passion? What do you do to combat it?

When I find myself procrastinating, it would be hard to notice it happening, so I usually set alarms to remind myself. When I found myself losing passion, it's usually because I'm losing confidence in my product. I remind myself that there are likely thousands of worse products out there that are more successful than you simply because they treated their customers a little better or had better marketing while offering nothing new. What do you do?

Just take a break, when you finish think about why you are doing what you are currently doing and how far along you are.

I exercise play soccer or guitar and that helps.

I have found that one thing that can help with procrastination is to break larger tasks into smaller, more manageable chunks. This can make the task seem less daunting, and can help me to make progress even when I don't feel particularly motivated. I also find it helpful to set specific goals and deadlines for myself, as this provides a sense of accountability and helps me to stay on track. Additionally, finding ways to make the task more enjoyable or rewarding can help to increase my motivation and passion for it. I also try to take breaks and engage in activities that help to re-energize and refresh me. This can include things like taking a walk, spending time with friends or loved ones, or engaging in a hobby or activity that I enjoy. It's important to remember that it's normal to go through periods of low motivation or inspiration, and it's okay to take a break or seek support when I need it. By staying positive and finding ways to stay motivated, I can overcome these challenges and continue to pursue my creative endeavors.

I usually take a rest and get away from the screen. Workout, do some gardening, or hang with friends and family. Sometimes I try to do a small and easy task to get some momentum 👍

I am 56 and I became a hospice Pastor in 2019. I've been up Pastor since I was 20 years old. But when my husband and most of his family passed away in 2019 that's when I changed my pastoral work and strictly did it all volunteer. I don't charge any money for anything that I do and I help as many people as I can. I tell people I feel more alive doing this type of God's work then I have doing any other. I have a service dog for my PTSD and he actually has taken a very good part in my volunteer work. He was not trained for it but he knew exactly what to do. And he goes with me anytime I get called out whether it be last rights visitation in the hospital or home and he always gets special treats and loves every single time.

It does seem odd but I join Gym if I am losing passion. It energizes me and give me confidence and motivation.

Remembering why you started and what the overall goal is.

Its really hard to spot but I keep on pushing myself and reminding myself - I'm better than this.
