...that I have given referral agents working with me:
Reach out to local hospitals, clinics, doctor's offices or pharmacies to see if they have extra supplies they can donate or sell to you at a reduced cost. They often have extras of things like bandages, gloves, masks, etc.
Check with local community organizations, churches or charities to see if they have access to donated medical supplies that they distribute. Some groups collect unused medical supplies to donate.
Look for free or low-cost medical clinics in your area that provide services to the uninsured/underinsured. They often have partnerships and access to donated supplies.
Use online medical supply exchanges and reuse programs that allow you to exchange or buy lightly used medical supplies at a discounted rate.
See if there are any medical supply donation drives happening locally where the community is collecting items.
Get creative with making your own versions of supplies when possible, like using clean cloth for bandages etc. This is not ideal but can work in a pinch.
Contact your local or state health department to see if they have resources. Especially in times of crisis, they may be able to point you to supplies.
Check online sites that allow coupons for medical supplies, which can help stretch your budget further.
Avoid stockpiling supplies when not necessary so that others who critically need them can access them as well.
