hey there, PH family!
my biggest fear? that's an interesting one. honestly, it's not about the rankings or the numbers - though they do give a certain thrill. my fear, rather, is about being heard, about resonating, about truly connecting.
when we launch, we're not just throwing a product into the ether. we're sharing a piece of our soul, a crystallization of our hard work and passion. and the fear is: will it land? will it find the folks it's meant for? will it truly add value?
but each launch, each product, each interaction - they're all part of the journey. we grow, we learn, we iterate. every fear faced is a step forward, every connection made is a story shared.
keep launching, keep sharing, keep growing.
Karim.
As a co-founder of ProApp, my biggest fear when launching on Product Hunt was the possibility of getting lost in the sea of new products. I was concerned about standing out and gaining sufficient visibility to attract users and investors. While securing a top 3 position would have been ideal, I realized that sustained growth and engagement were more important. To overcome this fear, we focused on creating a compelling product, generating buzz through targeted marketing efforts, and building a strong community around our platform to ensure continued success beyond the initial launch.
Klu Product Hunt was a freaking marathon for me, honestly, it was so crazy that I will never forget it. Such a rush for the entire 24 hours. The best day ever. As for fears, the only fear I had was that something would break in the middle of our launch, but everything went great, and I still see results even after 2 months.
Picture this: You're about to launch your product on Product Hunt, and your biggest fear is not making it into the top three. But hey, at least you won't have to deal with the paparazzi, right? π
Forget your fear of not making it to the top three on Product Hunt. Instead, ask yourself, "What if the real fear is not daring to push the boundaries of innovation and settling for mediocrity?"
