How did you get better at communicating?

One thing that's common in anything we do is communicating with others. You could be a product marketer or a designer or even an engineer. It's a must-have. So how did you or plan to get better at the art of communication?

Bettering communication just takes practice. Also, asking how you can better your communication is super important, especially if you are asking those you are communicating with. Highlighting issues in communication helps you learn from them.

I try to make eye contact, smile, and speak in a calm and respectful tone of voice.

Slowing down and ask questions to understand my audience has been helpful.
