How do people really get so many upvotes on their day of launch?

I find it very cool and at the same very difficult for someone to get so many upvotes in 24% of their launch. I love seeing them get to so much interest which identifies an early excellent product. However i am wondering what are some ways, that people use to get so many upvotes and just basically how they tend to show and put their product out there?
