Start by adding a simple Loom video on your site that explains what you can make with your platform. I just took a look at your site and I don't understand how your product works or see an example of what a portfolio could look like. I can imagine others will have the same thoughts. Ask people you know directly for feedback on the platform, and ask them to recommend other people you should be talking with for feedback, this is probably the easiest way to get started. Good luck!
@docs_docs_docs agreed + do the so-called 5 second test: showing fresh pairs of eyes your landing page for 5 seconds and afterwards ask them to answer a) what your company offers and b) why is it better than the competition?
@docs_docs_docs thank you so much Daan this is some very helpful advice and i will do this. I am also sending you connection request on LinkedIn. Umm but i can’t find the linkedin on your profile
@adityarai From what I can tell you've already gotten very far, keep up your good spirits! Another tip for when you reach out to people, try not to sell your product - just ask people for feedback. You'll get some great insights if you can get them to do a screenshare so you can see how they use your tool.
My LinkedIn is https://www.linkedin.com/in/docs... and I'm very proud I was able to snag that profile URL
@alice_goode My product is mostly about building a portfolio without code but I think people don't need/want it anymore because linkedin fulfills all the requirements
In the beginning I always recommend cold emails or cold DMs on the platform where your target audience is hanging out
cold email is good to get your first 5 to 10 customers and get testimonials as well
Then after that you can start using platforms like Reddit and Twitter to spread your word and let other people know about it.
