I was hoping to see some comments rather than likes to be honest.
I usually rely on the graph algorithms of LinkedIn. It suggests people I should be connecting to.
Apart from this, I like to meet people in the meetups and then connecting with them on LinkedIn.
Improve the touch points with specific community.
I focus on indie hacker community, so,
- I engage with the community daily ( it's not important to engage with specific person daily, as long as you're engaging with community they'll see your posts ).
- and then some posts to add some more touch points.
- and eventually when someone becomes familiar, just jump on DM, saying hi and progress conversation further.
that's how I usually do :)
Online relationships work just like offline ones - they need attention, authenticity, and mutual value to grow. Showing up consistently with genuine insights, not just generic likes and comments. Find your people, add real value, and watch those connections flourish naturally.
