🌐 How do you build meaningful connections online?

I was hoping to see some comments rather than likes to be honest. I usually rely on the graph algorithms of LinkedIn. It suggests people I should be connecting to. Apart from this, I like to meet people in the meetups and then connecting with them on LinkedIn.

Being genuine and authentic is the key to build meaningful connections.

Are we talking professional connections or personal ones here?

Start by giving more than I take! Support people offer help or just share something that brightens someone’s day.

I think the primary keyword is sincerity. Sincerely listening and appreciating others, while sincerely expressing and presenting your own values.

Find people whom you can genuinely help, help them. This helps me break the ice and initiate a connection request.

Improve the touch points with specific community. I focus on indie hacker community, so, - I engage with the community daily ( it's not important to engage with specific person daily, as long as you're engaging with community they'll see your posts ). - and then some posts to add some more touch points. - and eventually when someone becomes familiar, just jump on DM, saying hi and progress conversation further. that's how I usually do :)
