How do you identify community champions?

We always look for people who answer questions about the project/tool proactively. No one is pushing them to do so nor is it their responsibility - but they do it nevertheless. We always try to find and hire such people. 100% success rate with them.

Not quite sure what the question means but usually the number of followers and engagement numbers are very good indicators.

Connect with people in the community, ask for their opinions and feedback, and look for those who are consistently offering their insights and solutions. Identify those who regularly share their knowledge and enthusiasm for the community.
