How do you organize your solo learning? Any platforms you'd recommend?

Organize? Hah. Nah, I just keep tons of browser tabs open so I know to get to them, eventually.

Hi! I search for what is available on google and usually come across good recommendations for courses (in fact, normally free ones are recommended), and compare the structure of different courses (how the subject is covered). I start to study the course and at the same time try to put the knowledge into practice. Now I'm trying to organise the material I've already learned, as well as the material I haven't yet studied into Notion

First, I check the free courses. Then, I move to Stanford or Harvard's paid courses. I choose cohort-based courses to meet with new people.

Hi Martina, So i have taken a few solo learning courses over time, I have been lucky enough to be funded to do 2 NVQ's and a Diploma through my previous careers. For me, I've found that i schedule in study hours into my diary each week. I put aside 2/3 hours either at the weekend (I quite like a Saturday EARLY morning) to focus on nothing but my course content. I am also a sucker for making notes. I splurged a little bit on all new stationary and take my time making everything neat and tidy, which sounds silly but it helps me take my time with my learning rather than rush over everything. I hope these help. I did my course with the college of contract management and the best part was the courses were hosted on the weekend, or they're recorded so you can watch them at a time that suits you. Hello @martina_hackbartt I loved this question and it is something I am trying to work on it. I want to create a framework to follow in order to learn because sometimes I find myself learning something (Growth Loops from Reforge) and then I jump into another topic (Tracking Plan for Web and Product Analytics). This answer is kind of a reflection of me right now trying to understand how I should really organise the learning process. I believe that in order to learn and master a topic you must spend time on that and the Learning Pyramid Model is a good framework to follow. So, I think I will follow the next process: - Choose a course and topic to learn: Growth Tribe 12 Weeks Growth Marketing. - Book time to learn: book in the calendar 2 hours a day after working from Monday to Friday. - Read the material and write notes in a dedicated notebook: read the material that I have and write in the notebook dedicated for this course and topic all the notes and ideas about the lesson and content of that day (definitions, tools, frameworks, methods, playbooks, workflows, brands, books, experts, articles, etc.). - Create executable slides: create slides about the topics and how I can apply that knowledge to the startups that I am working on right now (Maze and Cake Equity) and to myself. - Create a Notion section: create my own version of the content that I can apply to startups. - Read and ask questions: read articles and ask questions in Quora, Product Hunt, Slack Groups, Twitter, etc. - Follow and read experts: follow and read content from experts in that topic. - Read books: read books about these topics. - Sessions on Growth Mentor: ask growth mentors about the topics that I am learning. I think following this clear process will help me to learn and master topics. And the most important thing is to be consistent on keep learning and follow the course and topic I decided to start up and not switch to the next one and apply the learnings.
