My prescription is constant regular rest. The more you rest from work = the more you want to return to it with new ideas. But if your processes are quite monotonous, then add something pleasant to the work and do it in turn, but also more and more rest.
This is what works well for me :)
@marcus_hubler I allow myself simple pleasant things during such a non-stop overload :)
For example: order a pizza (very large haha), more coffee than usual (I love coffee), a nice comedy serial in the background (so that the atmosphere is not too serious and tiring).
All this does not distract me, but creates pleasant conditions for doing something long and exhausting. This is perfect for me.
I'm using Shortcut (formerly Clubhouse) to track all things I have to do. When something comes up, I just add ticket to something like "To Do" and ignore it until I finish something that's "In progress". That way I finish planned things for the day and don't forget everything else
Productivity is not a do this, do that, and you're done kind of skill. It's more about building good work habits that add value to your life over time. First of all, it's about being clear about your priorities.
