Mondays can be a bit of a challenge, especially after a relaxing or eventful weekend. Some of us might find it hard to switch back into work mode, while others are ready to tackle the week head-on.

I usually plan the week (at least I try to 😅), what needs to be done, what needs to be pushed, what needs to be optimized, and what needs to be achieved.
And after dwelling on this, it comes out of somewhere...'I should probably get started' 🧐😬
And that's how it goes.
Every friday, I list my tasks that are to be done on Monday. Every monday morning, I do time blocking so I'll know what should be done ahead, also if there are meetings set, so I could plan my day accordingly.
I get up early and do my 45 minute excercise routine! Gets my mind in shape for the rest of the day! Makes me feel like I'm not lazy and puts me in a productive mood! I then start work early and organise the week and get on top of any emails! Means I can focus my attention on more productive tasks for the rest of the day!
I start my Monday mornings with a quick workout to boost my energy and a cup of coffee to get my mind focused. It helps me transition smoothly from the weekend mindset to a productive workday.
Mondays can be a real pain, huh? I totally get it. Well, you could always make it a little better!
So, here's what works for me and my team - we do this quick planning thing on Friday afternoons. Nothing fancy, just a casual chat about what we got done and what's coming up next week. It's actually kinda nice to wrap things up like that.
Come Monday, at least we're not totally clueless about what's going on. Makes that first coffee break a bit less panicky, you know? I (personally) usually start with the easy/less time taking stuff first. Feels good to tick off a few things, even if they're small.
To sum it up, a simple yet effective strategy could be:
1. Wrap up the week on Friday: Summarize accomplishments and lessons learned.
2. Plan ahead: List key action items for the upcoming week.
3. Start Monday with purpose: Review Friday's plan and hit the ground running.
(I'll mostly sneak a peek at work emails on Monday morning while I get ready for the work. Just to avoid any nasty surprises.)
This approach keeps the team engaged and provides a smooth kickstart to the week. It's especially helpful for those who find it challenging to switch gears after the weekend.
What about you? Any Monday hacks that keep you sane? Always looking for new ideas!
Mondays can indeed be challenging as we transition from the weekend back to work. While some people struggle to get back into work mode, others use the fresh start to set goals and tackle the week ahead. Finding a personal routine that eases this transition can make Mondays more manageable.

I try to deal with the most difficult task I have. Usually it proves much less daunting than I expected. After completing all other tasks seem easy and I feel motivated!
I tackle Monday mornings by setting clear goals for the week and starting with a small, manageable task to build momentum. It helps me transition smoothly from the weekend and kickstart my productivity.
The prep actually starts on Sunday - I like to end the day a little early and keep no plans for the evening. Do some reading and plan for the week ahead and sleep on time.
Monday Morning -
-A short run followed by some workout
- A short read - some article or book
- A light breakfast so that I don't feel lazy :)
Thats' it - most of the times this works! :)
I like Monday morning to get ready and go to the office and to the work again which I really love to do.
Some responsibilities and work are important in life to make us concentrate on goal.
Happy monday! I always like to start Monday off with listing my weekly todos, cleaning up messages/emails, and a cup of coffee😎 Reaching out to some co-workers to set up some meeting times also help with ramping up and getting back to the workflow. (plus, i’m a huge tennis fan so i always listen to a monday match analysis podcast in the morning so i can have a good mood😝
I try to make a quick plan about Monday mornings on Sunday itself. Just a 10 minute thing. So that I have 2-3 lined up to get started. By the time I finish those tasks on Monday morning, I'm already in the zone.
@ For entrepreneurs, the grind is constant - every day is a workday. But I still find value in "eat the frog" principle on Mondays (I will say that's a constant for me if I am not touring). Tackling the toughest task first creates momentum that propels me through the week. It's not about dreading Mondays, but using them strategically to set a productive tone for the days ahead.
Weirdly this comes naturally to me. Working after a weekend of unwinding and unexposed to anything work related untangles a lot in my mind. So when I head to work I have a fresh mind, more energy and drive.
A lot of times I would have struggled with a task the previous week, not being able to pass a hurdle or figure something out, I tackle the same thing on Monday and it's clear as day.
This is a nice trick I like to keep in mind. If I'm working on something I cannot figure out, I try to break away from it, if I can afford to. Give it some space. Work on something else.
Peculiarly, when I get back to it later, it is easily comprehendible.
I find Fridays more difficult, how do you deal with that? Push through the last day of the week and be just as productive as the others?
