@bjarnbronsveld Creativity still needs some human guidance. And I think it is great to see the human touch because it adds unique perspective and personality to the output.
It will definitely increase productivity.
Creativity will be a weird thing. On the one hand, I strongly believe it will lead to a kind of democratization of creativity (normal folks will be able to create high-end content more easily). On the other hand, we will see mediocre and standard content flooding the internet (what I call the Canva effect).
@matthias_strafinger AI definitely needs some careful consideration while being used because I am starting to get sick of seeing generic and unoriginal content 😅
@matthias_strafinger great response! I completely agree with the democratization of creativity and Canva effect. I think this is where the creatives need to now use AI as a baseline and use it as an opportunity. On the other hand, it's also beautiful to see how AI will unlock the capabilities of people's creativity that are limited by their technical abilities. It's more "how limitless can you think?" exciting time.
It will definitely give a boost to our productivity and creativity as it can give us a starting point, suggest new ideas and ways when we are stuck, or give a finishing touch in the final stages of our product or ideas.
AI will make creativity be very the real value!
On this stage all the content is free, even the really really valuable one,
but with the time goes.
Real human-created content will value more and more, and won't be free like never.
It depends on the field and also the expertise of the user. For example, I used to be an engineer but no longer code. So my skills are rusty. Having something like co-pilot is amazing for me, where I don't need to search stackoverflow for every step at the same time, I have decent knowlege enough that I'm not blindly copy pasting and hoping something magical would happen.
I personally think that is the sweet spot for whom the productivity gains would be massive - for someone who is neither advanced nor novice
Bitting on it changing the game completely, I can see it enabling one person teams to execute at a much higher rate.
A little product we've launched today, would love your thought and feedback:

Both in a positive manner.
It is now easier to find inspiration, even when you don't know where to look for it you can ask an AI for place to get it from. This in general helps my creative side.
As for productivity, everything that is text based can now be made easier, faster and in a better manner if you know how to use GPT to aid you.
@gizemnurkeskin Agreed, but I think that is true for every tool :) And that's what GPT is in the end, just a tool that can really help you if you use it properly :D
By responding almost instantly with high accuracy, it helps me think faster and quickly execute tasks. In that sense it not only increases my productivity, but also supports my creativity since it allows me to move on to and think about the next thing significantly faster.
@kulsoom_awan For some people, it definitely kills productivity. But if we were to use it as a tool that helps people be more creative, not as an alternative for it, we would master this art.
It's makes a lot of things quicker .I use it daily for these purposes
- Revising text and correcting spelling errors
- Creating automation scripts to eliminate manual tasks
- Generating creative ideas for writing emails
- Searching for concise information on various topics
AI can increase productivity. And it can democratize design where a lot of people can do a lot of things that they are not skilled at. But having knowledge on the principles of the specific domain will help them be more efficient.
@nithincp I agree. While AI can automate some jobs and streamline some processes, domain-specific expertise is still required to fully utilize its capabilities and deliver high-quality content.
AI can have a significant impact on productivity and creativity, both positively and negatively. Here are some examples:
✅Automation: One of the primary benefits of AI is automation. By automating repetitive or time-consuming tasks, AI can free up more time for you to focus on more creative or high-value work. For example, AI-powered chatbots can help automate customer service tasks, leaving your team with more time to work on other projects.
✅Personalization: AI can also help personalize your work experience, making it easier to focus on tasks that are most relevant to you. For example, AI-powered email filters can automatically sort and prioritize your inbox, helping you focus on the most important messages first.
✅Idea generation: AI can also help generate new ideas and solutions to problems, helping to spur creativity. For example, some AI tools can analyze data and suggest new product ideas based on market trends or customer behavior.
On the other hand, there are also potential negative effects of AI on productivity and creativity, such as:
✅Over-reliance: If you become too reliant on AI tools, it could limit your ability to think creatively or independently. It's important to strike a balance between using AI to automate tasks and relying on your own intuition and creativity.
✅Bias: AI systems can be biased if they are trained on biased data or algorithms. This could lead to skewed or inaccurate results, which could hinder productivity or creativity.
✅Loss of jobs: As AI and automation become more prevalent, there is a risk of job loss in certain industries. While AI can help increase productivity, it's important to consider the potential impact on the workforce and take steps to ensure that people are not left behind.
Overall, AI can have a significant impact on productivity and creativity, but it's important to use AI tools in a responsible and balanced way to avoid potential negative effects.
When you first start using it, you think it really saved your life, but after a while, you realize how valuable productivity and creativity are. If you get used to AI tools, it is inevitable to lose a great deal of your productivity and creativity, but you should learn to use AI tools as a good assistant. You cannot expect them to do everything for you. The most important thing that sets you apart and makes you different is your creativity. Especially if you are doing a marketing business, you should not forget this :)
It increases productivity for sure. Being able to get an output in a matter of seconds rather than hours will definitely help get tasks done quicker. For creativity, it's a mixed bag. One, you could use it as inspiration but on the other side, your originality is impacted because you are building on what AI has created.
Productivity is definitely affected in a positive manner, but creativity is something that still relies on the person to some extent.
Well yes, contents, images and a lot of things can be generated by anyone, but learning to use and guide that tool to deliver your expected results is also an art.
Creativity can be improved, but definitely only for the one's who were already a bit!
They increase productivity and inspire creative thinking.
However, we need to be suspicious of their responses, including their accuracy and repeatability.
The impact of AI on productivity and creativity is complex and depends on a variety of factors, such as the nature of the work being done and how AI is being used.
While AI has the potential to boost productivity and enhance creativity, it's important to carefully consider the implications of its use and ensure that it's being used in a way that benefits workers and society as a whole.
I honestly feared tools like chatGPT when it was first released. As a copywriter, I thought 'welp there goes my job.' Then I started playing around with it and now I can't remember a time without it! Working as a one-woman team, and in my freelance work, I treat GPT as a collaborator. Just like how I would talk ideas out with a coworker to brainstorm, GPT is that coworker. It has cut down on my frustration and that spiral of thoughts going... well, nowhere. I'm so excited to see how else I can use these tools in my workflow!
For me personally, AI has helped me with being more productive and creative, especially when I am suffering from process overload, where do I start, and creative blocks. It has assisted me with getting my thoughts together, figure out better ways to create and flow through the processes that I have in order to create.
As time goes on, it may become more of a crutch than a benefit, however, I will work through that when I get to it. For now, I am whizzing through projects and I don't mind it.
AI has the potential to impact productivity and creativity positively and significantly. By automating routine tasks, AI can free up time and mental energy for more complex and creative work. AI can also assist in generating ideas and solutions.
