How much time do you spend writing tagline?

Even after 40 product hunt launch, writing catchy tagline is quite difficult for me. I'm curious to know how much time you are taking? PS: I'm actually hunting an AI tool which can provide good inspiration for tagline writing.

Enough time to get it right. A tagline is your business's first impression - so it's gotta hit. It needs to be catchy, clear, and communicate your value.

taglines. a puzzle in a few words. their power lies in their brevity and resonance. they tell a story, evoke an emotion, or offer a promise, all within a fleeting moment. yes, crafting a catchy tagline can be challenging. it requires clarity of vision, understanding of audience, and a knack for brevity. it's not about how much time it takes, it's about the process of distillation. start with the core - what's the essence of your product? what does it promise to do? then, who is it for? what will it mean to them? boil these answers down to their simplest form, then weave them into a tagline. it's an art, it's a science, it's a bit of both. 🧪🎨 and as for AI tools, they might inspire with suggestions, but, the soul of the tagline comes from your understanding of your product and your users. rely on AI, but trust your intuition too. 💫

@shajedulkarim_ agreed you shouldn't blindly rely on AI tool. It is only a support tool for inspiration.

@shajedulkarim_ @fabian_maume It is not blindly relying on it; no one should rely 100% on AI responses; you still need the expert eye to make an assessment of the response. It is doing your research and giving it to the AI system to use that information to generate the taglines, and of course, reviewing the response throughout the process and iterate. The destination still happens.

@fabian_maume Of course, these tools are not silver bullets, but rather time savers. You still have to do a little work. But you can save a lot of time if you have a formula for this task. Let's make this clear: finding the right prompt and tuning an AI assistant for any task is a process of repetition, but when you find one that meets your requirements, the process can be almost effortless after that.
