The best (and most typical) answer from a designer... "IT DEPENDS" 🤣 For interface design -- I play around with lots of products, and see how the thing works, feels, and looks. For aesthetics -- I notice what brands standout from the crowd, their visual language, and what emotions it elicits. For biz ideas -- I consume a lot of content, but mainly its focused on the problems I face, that would be a no-brainer to solve for me and others like me. For ideas in general -- it's usually during some down time, shower, bike ride, somewhere away from the desk, or some mindless activities like washing the dishes. How do you get inspired?

Whenever I'm talking to designers, I make boards on Pinterest to help them see what I'm picturing in my head. I found that it helps them a lot.

Wow I love everyones answer on this. I personally try to get inspired by anything that is visually appealing to me, as I am handling our products UI/UX I sometimes look ad appealing food plates from social media and try to get inspired by colors and shapes.

I usually have a list of products that I LOVE! And whenever I need some sort of design inspiration I think what would X product do in this case? Btw we're launching soon, would love to hear your feedback on our product!

I usually google 'top ____ designs' or 'inspirational _____ designs.' Then just go through and find ones that are inspiring.

I use dribbble.com and I look at related sites in the same niche for inspiration. Sometimes I also checkout pinterest.com. Thank you

Behance, Dribbble, Pinterest are dead platforms for design inspiration, there are so many fake non-logical designs. Recently I am connecting with a lot of top-notch designers where I am following their work. I follow real products how they are designing via: Mobbin.com or Landingfolio.com

Inspiration can come from anywhere: I find inspiration from social media, gaming, conversations with coworkers, walking in the fresh air...

I browse dribbble.com for inspiration and explore related niche sites. Behance is another source I check out occasionally.

I use Dibbble, Pinterest and Google Image Search a lot because it's easy to find what you're looking for. But then there are other sites like TailwindUI (i use TailwindCSS a lot), One Page Love, Landbook... where you have a collection of nice things, but have to put a little bit more work in if you want to find something specific.

X (aka Twitter) has been good for this recently, a lot more designers active there now compared to a few years ago when it felt like everyone was on dribbble. Also muzli is a great extension for inspiration
