Hey guys,
I run a newsletter where I interview creators whose products ranked on Top 3 of Product Hunt and share their launch strategies.
They shared this advice:
1. If you fail, launch it again. No one is gonna care, tweak it a little bit and re-launch it - Pascio (Notion Creator)
2. Reply to each and every comment on your product's launch page. And, share launch updates frequently on Twitter - Katt Risen (Founder of No Code Guru and No Code Exits)
3. Build an audience before launching on Product Hunt. It will help you get upvotes in the first 2-3 hours of launch which is very crucial - Shushant (Micro product creator)
4. Put a lot of hours into building the product. if it's your first product, build the best - Ignacio (Notion Creator)
5. Never launch on a weekday (Monday-Friday), if you're launching for the first time. They’re super competitive. - Falak (Maker of Product Hunt Checklist)
6. Launch on Twitter first, and build your product in public. Collect all the handles who upvoted or commented on your tweets. And reach out to them when you launch on Product Hunt. - Michael (Founder of SideProjectLedGrowth)
7. Launch a side project before launching your main product. You will understand how Product Hunt works and you can also build an email list that will help with your main launch - Elif (Founder of Before Sunset)
