Is Medium an effective platform for getting people to visit your blog?

If it's a topic many people are interested in, you can drive traffic to your blog. If not, you'll get crickets:)

@janet_ashforth yeah, that's my sense. I think it can be a lot of work to build a following on Medium, so it is an investment. That said, once you have a threshold of followers I think the growth can really take off as Medium promotes you more and more. I've been weighing this against a blog on our website, where there is SEO value.
