Is RSS still relevant?

I keep seeing content sites like Medium, Hashnode, etc., providing the RSS feed. Is it still relevant? I would like to know your thoughts. Do you use RSS or provide RSS for your products? If yes, What's the impact? is there any?

It still has its uses.

Agree it still has its uses. If you're building a content aggregator of some sort, it's a nice easy format to integrate with, simply because it is very standardised and simple.

Yes, as a News Publisher without built-in ways to measure your content production, you can actually count the number of produced news articles using RSS :)

It is still relevant. Some tolls rely on it. For example Missinglettr that I'm using to distribute my content from medium to LinkedIn.

If those sites are still using one, then it probably is still relevant. In a lot of industries, what the big players do is a good indication of what's relevant and not
