Is there any funny hiring interview experience of yours?

I was interviewing one person and every time they didn't know the reply they started coughing :)

I had an awkward interview 15 years ago when I was freshly starting Communications. FYI, I applied to a big event company in Paris to intern for the summer. The head of Communications was actually quite lovely but arrived completely drunk from lunch 🤯 (our meeting was scheduled for 2 pm). The collar of his shirt was stained with red wine (yeah, that's how we lunch in France), and his speech was slurring. After 10 minutes of complicated conversation, he stood up, wobbling, and brought me to another conference room to attend a meeting with all senior execs. He said I was his new assistant, excused himself and left immediately. Pure trial by fire... But it worked, they offered me a job at the end of the summer, and I started my career producing one of the biggest tech events in France 💪
