Is WEB3 dead?

It was never alive, just like web 3.0 (yes, the same name), i.e. semantic web that preceded it.

Why? I think web3 will never die.

The hype certainly is surpassed by that for AI! The larger projects are holding up. The technology is valuable for sure, but with all the problems the crypto world is having, the interest is markedly diminished. But I'm pretty sure this is not the end. I know several people right now who are quietly building interesting projects based on blockchain technologies!
