Launching 12 side projects in 2024, anyone? π
I've decided to challenge myself to ship 12 projects in 2024.
This is more a personal growth challenge - a way for me to break free from permission, overcome fear of exposure, and embrace criticism. And to also develop + pick up new skills along the way.
Just wondering if anybody else is planning to do something similar or is challenging themselves in 2024? Would love to hear!

That's quite a challenge! Will the projects be connected somehow?
I'll probably concentrate on the improvement of App Finder (an advanced search engine for Android apps) in 2024, but there are many different features I plan to launch:
- A web interface (currently there is only an Android app)
- Support for many languages (currently English only)
- Indexing of alternative Android app stores
- Indexing of iOS apps
- An iOS app (never made one yet)
- AI-based natural-language search (currently keyword search only)
And about 10 somewhat smaller things...

Sounds like you've got a solid roadmap for App Finder as well - let's crush it in 2024!

I have tried to launch multiple projects in 2023 but found that takes time and cannot go deep into either one of them. It also let me always at the working tension :(
I need more work-life balance in 2024!
So I decided to be more concentrated on 2024, only working on 2-3 projects.

I definitely hear you on that one. π There's a "spreading yourself too thin" element to these kind of challenges and it can be hard to really dive in one a single project - this time, I'm taking a slight adjustment by making these projects smaller-scale and related to each other.
