Looking for Advice on successfully Branding on Reddit?

Has anyone had success with building a community or branding on Reddit? and promoting products? I'm having a tough time on it, my posts keep getting removed by the mods even if they follow the subreddit rules and no self-promotion at all. I don't get it. I would be extremely grateful if you'd like to your successful experience and tips on it.
