@vladimir_tambovtsev True, True. But I think that it will take a part of market and with development of AI it will be much easier to bring ideas to life without waiting on dev queues.
@ryan_motiff I think it will give a lot of opportunities for startupers and will help them to launch their MVPs easier and faster. Also it will be a great help and of course money saving for small business. In a couple of years we will see great changes in the world of No-code. The entry threshold will be lower and lower until even a child can make a simple website.
AI can already do the chores — crud apps, test code generation, code documentation, some optimizations, etc. But current state of AI or no code systems are nowhere near threatening the fundamentally solid devs. Only the low fidelity devs at the bottom of the ocean are risk now.
5-10 years from now, more high level programming will be possible with simply requirements analysis and so future top paying devs will have to have greater skills - high math, complex designs that are hard to document as requirements, etc.
@mjkabir It's true, Karib. I think we have the same situation as with the invention of the cinema. Everyone said that actors were no longer needed, but as a result, their work only became more appreciated.
i think it could mostly impact the lower level developers, people with simpler landing pages are more likely to be happy with what they get from AI. But skilled developers will always be valuable
No-code is useful for starting an idea. And this world will always have entrepreneurs - so the no-code will go and support the endeavors of entrepreneurs, just as parents support a child in his first steps)
