Noticed my kitty points rate is decreasing. How it works?

If you are not active for 1 or 2 weeks i think, your kitty points start decreasing.

Hey everyone, I actually think that if you get upvotes from accounts that get deleted (due to various reasons), you also lose those points. They don't get permanently saved, since each point relates to someone else's activity. But that's just my best guess
