Hey there,
Just over a week ago, I launched Moonka.space over here. Somehow I remembered that just like on HN, "gathering" (for lack of a better euphemism) votes is not only frowned upon but penalised.
To this point I'm not sure if:
1.) this was never the case
2.) this used to be, but is no longer the case
3.) this is still the case, but nobody seems to care
In the small circle I discussed launching, the same sentiment resonated.
We received 40-50 fully organic upvotes, but had I known that we're going up against products unleashing their full potential to reach out to as many people as possible to upvote, things might have turned out differently.
I see nothing wrong with that btw, I just thought it's not allowed.
Is there a way to relaunch on concentrate our efforts on a campaign?
How would you approach this situation?
