Passwords, Pain Points of Passwords, Password Managers, or Passwordless?

@kartik_jhakal As a user, I'd recommend to use a password manager. For my personal case, I use 1Password as the UX is pretty slick, it syncs across devices and also it's secure. If you want to build a new app or SaaS, I'll definitely recommend to go down the passwordless path, as this is the future. Way more secure and way more convenient. Specifically, with passkeys you combine the simplicity of Face ID / Touch ID with the security of PKI. Moreover, passkeys are phishing resistant which is another major benefit. On top of that, passkeys will be integrated into many major password managers (so you can use your passwords alongside passkeys in a transition phase).

Password managers are a way to go, so there is no need to remember passwords. But nowadays, password managers are also getting breached, recent LastPass breach. Passkeys and passwordless would be best in the future, so there is no need to remember and store them.

This is why we founded Vault Vision because of the endless breaches and the inconvenience of passwords. Passkeys have made logging in as easy as facial recognition and fingerprint. Ironically enough, lastpass, oktra and auth0 have all been hacked too.
