I'm curious to know your thoughts about putting price information on the home page/landing page of a product? And why?
Edit: The question is really about having the price on the landing page or keep it on a separate /pricing page ?
I think it's pretty important to put a price signal on the landing page, but that doesn't mean all pricing information has to be there. Even "get started for free" can be ok if you have a free trial, as it signals what users can expect immediately.
I'll admit, though, that after a minute on a landing page if I find a product interesting I go to the URL bar and type /pricing because I like to know what I'm getting myself into.
Seems like it's helpful in most cases. If you're worried about price shock, you could try anchoring higher-priced options/packages next to your primary offering. Care to share a link?
Honestly, I won't even look at a product if they don't have a price and expect you to call for pricing or a demo. My assumption is that it is enterprise level and too expensive.
