Reaching out to youtube influencers for promo before launch?

Has anyone had luck reaching out to youtube influencers in your space for promo? Maybe a podcast? If so, what did your outreach look like? How did you develop the hook to get them interested (without payed contracts)? I am thinking to reach out to channels that have 10,000 users or less, growth channels to form partnerships.

Can be difficult to find one's that could do it without a pay. Not saying it's impossible but certainly can be tricky

@joonatanvanhala yes certainly! Any other ideas for distribution? My target personas are early to mid career professionals, students starting the segment with tech. Maybe hackathons? Or getting a table at a career fair?

I am in the process now with podcasters, we sent them a bio and topics that I wanted to speak on, and then we started getting things scheduled.
