Share your BEST organic growth strategy that actually works.

For me it is the following: - Adding 200 targeted connections to my Linkedin on a weekly basis. - Messaging them just to connect or to try out my product. - Make sure my profile links to my product. A boring one i know. But it works. I have addedd 3,000+ (targeted) followers to my account in 2.5 months. However, it is not scalable. AT ALL. What's yours?

It all depends on the product. Social Media works. Cold Email works. SEO works. Product Hunt works. If you know what to do.

@cryptosymposium what do you mean? If you're consistent it's scalable. If you expect to post 1 time and to have a lot of users -yes it's not scalable. It's a daily task.

@byalexai yeah exactly. Well, ofc I never meant to post 1 time and to go viral :P That cannot happen. By "not scalable" i mean that, if I always have to do things on a daily basis, and it never goes viral, then it is not scalable. And if i dont do it one day, and numbers decrease, also not scalable. Im referring mostly to how manual or automatic this is. Dont get me wrong eh, that's what I do as well.

Great strategy, @cryptosymposium. My approach is more gradual but effective. Over the past two years on LinkedIn, I’ve earned the 'Top Voice' badge for six months (they give Golden badges for specific periods). My strategy focuses on: Engaging thoughtfully with industry-related posts. Sharing valuable insights that align with my audience’s needs. Hosting interactive sessions like polls or Q&As. Collaborating with like-minded individuals for cross-promotions. It's all about providing value and building genuine connections. It takes time, but it leads to long-term engagement and trust.

It is how deep and friendly your relationship with the audience is. From my experience, when we held calls and had more informal convo for several months, you feel to each other more like family so it is more genuine. :) For me social media and newsletter. Videos work well too. (More trust.)

@busmark_w_nika yes, and from shooting. Im doing a few tutorials on how to turn my Lumix G90 into a cinematic beast for low budget solopreneur product demos. Fun, but hard. Are you doing things like that? I assume you dug deeper into the video world with your Youtube stuff.

I try to post more video content to attract potential customers to my dropshipping store. With dropshipping platforms like Sellvia, it's super easy since they provide ready-made videos with descriptions and hashtags to post.

I'm experiencing the same difficulty. Approaching people with a product may not be welcomed. We need to approach them more personally and consistently.

@kay_arkain agree ! is just a bit hard to do that, and definitely time consuming. But i agree, approaching people with things like " Upvote me, or try my app" should not be allowed by law :P

The problem with marketing strategy is, once it is well known it becomes expensive or less effective so it is important to continuously explore new ones and use it before it becomes well known.

@cryptosymposium i used to do something similar on LI and here's what I learned: 1. it's easy to grow your connection count on LI: - the more connection requests you send, the greater the chances of your connections count growing - tho not everyone will accept your connection request 2. beyond the 'are they in my target audience?' question, the key point to pay attention to is -> are they active on LI? if they're not then it's kind of irrelevant if they're a connection or not. 3. rather than pestering ppl in LI DMs, let them come to you if you've interacted on LI, it's generally ok to DM ppl. but cold DMs aren't really that effective a better approach is to talk about your product (in the right way) and problems it solves. and let them come to you so, your question is about organic growth. reading your post more closely, I sense the core of your question is *how to spread the word about my product?* the method you've described, I'd agree, is not scalable. more importantly, the LI connection count has very little relevance to 'organic growth'.

Curious, what LinkedIn automation tools are you using to manage connections and messaging?

@puja_duseja none actually. Most of them are rubbish or too costly. I just send 220 connections (which is the linkedin limit) to very targeted people with personalized messages. Takes like 1-2 hours for me every week. Not scalable, but FREE.

How did you filter our your targeted connections? Did you find them through search or joining a group? I got 200+ followers and 300 profile views when I started posting content. One of my content got viral up to 25k impressions organically and got me a bunch of those followers and connections. But it's really hard to recreate that. Another content got 9k but it doesn't convert at all. So I've been experimenting a lot on these things. Someone did mention just messaging people about content but I'm still figuring out how to even start that conversation.
