We doubled our user sign ups thanks to Product Hunt!!

@chrishalliday35 Absolutely happy to share Chris!! So, funny enough, we had an accidental launch last week because I accidentally clicking launch now. Had to contact PH to undo the launch. Since then, I set the launch date to be one week after. Throughout that one week, my and my team (5 more members) did the following: - make sure our website is optimized as much as we can - build up hype on Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn by posting that we are launching in 5, 3, 1 days. - engage with the Product Hunt community by replying to and create discussions - we did it religiously, non-stop for 7 days to build up an audience to follow the launch - this is key though, keep it genuine. Engage authentically with people. On the day of launch, we made sure to reply to every single comment or review. Don't know if that helps with the ranking or not but I hope so. We had the highest upvote-to-comment ratio out of all the launches of the day. That's pretty much it, we didn't use a hunter and in hindsight, maybe that would've helped?? who knows. Here's the dark side though, you will get exhausted replying to people for 24h straight. My team and I barely slept during launch day to make sure we can engage and reply to everyone. So, do this strategy at your own precaution.

@chrishalliday35 @alec_afforai This is hilarious... the fact that you accidentally launched. I feel like it's so 'founder' of you. We just have a million things going on and bound to make mistakes like that. Good to hear the PH team got you sorted. And thanks for the insights, I'll be launching in August some time.
