Web3 folks — why use ENS as Twitter handle?

I have noticed there're more and more people on Twitter who use their ENS name (wallet) as Twitter handle or name. Just curious what's the reason? And do you actually use this wallet for transactions or hodling crypto/NFTs? Cause you know, everyone can check Etherscan and see what's inside
