hey there, sis
let's take a walk down memory lane, to the cusp of adulthood. here's what i'd tell my 18-year-old self:
1. stay curious. the world is vast, complex and endlessly fascinating. curiosity is your passport.
2. learn to love learning. knowledge is a tool, a weapon, a comfort. it's also a journey.
3. embrace failure. it's not a dead end, but a stepping stone. learn, adapt, grow.
4. nurture relationships. they're life's greatest treasures. and remember, quality over quantity.
5. find your why. purpose fuels perseverance. seek it, find it, hold onto it.
6. be patient. good things take time. so does self-growth.
7. health is wealth. both physical and mental. prioritize them.
8. embrace change. it's the only constant. learn to dance with it.
9. find balance. in work, love, life. it's a tightrope walk worth mastering.
10, you're enough. as you are. where you are. remember this.
now, back to the present. the beautiful thing about advice is, it's never too late to implement. so no matter what your age, perhaps there's something here for you too.
Everyone is watching you.
Most of the time follow your instincts.
Spend time with people who are smarter than you.
Have a guru in life until you are 35 and be a Guru to others after 35.
@nevemind_com I am lucky as in my life mom played mentor part when I am young and later in my career Journey my Boss played mentor role. If one couldnt find a mentor. Time is the best mentor which teaches you everything. I experienced this too.!!
Embrace continuous learning, stay curious, and don't fear failure. Seek mentors and surround yourself with a diverse network. Be adaptable, and remember that success takes time and effort. Trust your instincts and take calculated risks. Enjoy the journey and focus on making a positive impact in the world through education.
