By far, PH has been the best source of initial traffic for me. But that's just a one-time boost. So for continued traffic, Mastodon has been my greatest source of traffic (for apps that don't have a top-5 rank on listing site so don't get evergreen exposure)

@ashna_s Mastodon is very popular among open-source devs, so if your product is open source then you can get a lot of users just by engaging with them (like, reply etc)

@ashna_s ... so if your app's not open source, then apply the engagement strategy to some other platform that is filled with your target user type

on my experience joining product hunt most of them approach personally through linkedin asking for support before they launch you could try it tho

For me, two standout channels have been LinkedIn and Product Hunt. LinkedIn provides a professional platform to connect with potential users and industry peers, creating a buzz around the upcoming launch. On the other hand, Product Hunt offers a dedicated audience of early adopters eager to explore new innovations, making it a prime stage for showcasing your product's value.
