To find inspiration I try to get an overview by observing the marketing companies far from my sector (B2C, etc...) : mainly LinkedIn posts, newsletters, podcasts and blogs.
As I am learning more about marketing, I try to keep myself updated with the relevant industry marketing practices by following different spaces. And looking at what others are doing worldwide inspires me to do better.
When I'm completely lacking inspiration I try googling popular books in the industry or look at the latest conferences and see what new topics were talked about.
Sometimes just an insightful book review is enough to see what kind of content people in my niche want to consume and why.
I check daily Twitter and news to see what's trending and what type of content people engage with. I also often subscribe to lots of newsletters and keep an eye on competitors for some more inspiration too.
This is something I've discussed with a friend. Run 3 is an addicting infinite runner game set in a futuristic universe in which you control a self-falling ball on a 3D track, combining old and new gameplay elements. A fast-paced game with some bizarre high-tech elements.
