I found the way that Grammarly utilizes emojis to be quite inventive. When you're writing an email, emojis appear to signal how your text may sound to a reader (friendly, professional, etc.). Of course, this feature can't be right 100% of the time, but it motivates you to evaluate the text and maybe switch some words a little.
Also, love the way that Wordle harnessed emojis to allow users to easily share their results in an iconic, recognisable, platform-agnostic way - therefore creating virality!
You know "movies described with emojis"? I'd say it's pretty inventive usage. Doesn't give too much value but still, interesting kind of trivia!
