To me, the most important part is the value prop statement. Where and how do you show your value to visitors? It needs to be clear, to the point, and obvious.
If they don't see immediate value, they have no reason to stick around to read more.
In no more than a few seconds, the visitor should get the answer to the question "what's in it for me".
The dilemma is, how narrow and specific should you message be, based on what you perceive as the most likely prospective customer.
1. the page needs to explain to the target audience what the product is and why they should get it in clear, simple and intuitive way (can be a combination of text and visual images). if people don't understand it, then they won't try it!
2. show the social proof if available to establish credibility
