Pro tip — ask beta-testers to get their feedback as a testimonial. This way, you will have solid social proof before the launch.

Enjoy the ride! Obviously not everyone can be #1 of the day or have a super successful launch, and that's ok. Focus on connecting with the community, meeting other makers and receiving feedback from your launch!

@nicolaas_spijker Thanks for the reply. I am launching my first product today and taking your advice to enjoy the ride.
Shivam Rathore
@nicolaas_spijker Yeah, completely agree with these points. Networking and community feedback is more important than the ranking and upvotes
Philippe Beaudoin
@nicolaas_spijker This is a great advice! I've been stressing up about my launch but you're reminded me that it's a process and that it wont be defined by any single event. Thanks!

1. If you're a first-timer, launch on weekends 2. Build audience on SM platforms before the launch 3. Have a hunter who will promote your launch with their audience I run a newsletter where I interview successful creators of product hunt on their launch strategies and secrets. it might be helpful for you. Launch to gather feedback and become better. Don’t chase vanity metrics like the top spot of the feed.

My best Product Hunt tip is to focus on creating a great product that solves a real problem for users. Product Hunt is a competitive platform, and the products that are most successful are those that offer real value to users. By focusing on creating a high-quality product that people are willing to pay for, you can increase your chances of success on Product Hunt.

Hey Amna, deciding what your goal is before the launch helps in the overall planning. Once that's done, decide your entire strategy around that goal. Good luck :)

Mainly focus on building your community. If your community loves you, then definitely your product launch will be a success.

I don't know what is the best tip. On my viewpoint, it is a combination of numerous actions and executions included in a detailed plan. I'm also a newbie on product hunt and currently planning on creating a suitable plan/strategy for our mobile game launch: https://www.petgotchi.com/ Wish all the best for your launch!

I guess a good tip is to create an upcoming page. We've used split-screen mode in our upcoming (better than chat mode IMHO), short description, product video, and special offer for PH users. Also, it's good for your design tests before the main launch. You can check it out here https://www.producthunt.com/upco...
* Making sure to submit your product early in the day so that it can get the most attention from the community. * Adding an eye-catching image to your product submission as this will help draw people’s attention. * Engaging with other users and comment on their submissions to start building relationships. * Reaching out to influencers in your industry and asking them to upvote your product.

I am not new, but I joined late; I have heard a lot about it from so many people. The launch of Hackr over product hunt (https://www.producthunt.com/prod...) was my life-changing moment, and today, Whatever I am, it's because of Hackr.io. See, we were very popular for that week and Even awarded as a product of week four and Product of the day.

Pro tip - send an email to your beta testers about the PH launch & ask them for support/feedback.
Gurram Mahesh Babu
Feedback and community support for the product is the best tip we can get from the product hunt, as ultimately we want to build the best version of our product rather than #1 on launch day.

#1. Partner with the best hunter #2. interactive videos / demos - simplified #3. Explain your value proposition #4. Avoid dark patterns - like unable to cancel trial, etc
