It's not really a tip but something I realised as I've started being involved in different communities (like Product Hunt): if you're genuinely trying to help people, they'll often be nice in return and help you too. I've met a lot of really cool people in the last few months this way, just because one of us had initiated some genuinely kind gesture.
Being genuinely interested in different topics. Everyone has their own interests and feeding into that usually a fast track to people liking you.
But cant fake it.
Be genuinely interested in others. When networking, focus on building authentic connections by listening, asking questions, and showing a sincere interest in the people you meet. This creates meaningful relationships that can lead to valuable opportunities.
