From a marketing standpoint, a crucial element for a user-friendly website is the incorporation of well-placed and compelling Call to Action (CTA) buttons.
Intuitive navigation - always focus on the flow of the website in order to hit the target or goal with the site. Is great to have a good-looking website, but it can be pretty-useless if the user experience and navigation are not there.
Simple but beautiful.
Too simple -> looks bad.
Too nice -> hard to use.
Usually can't get both, that's why I value UI/UX designers that can get the best out of both.
