Client satisfaction. As a designer who owns a design agency, I know this is the biggest challenge any designer could ever face. People are different, there are people who values the work we put in it, there are people who thinks designs come out of a button and more. Juggling through these clients takes more than just skillsets and knowledge, it takes the ability to persuade and a whole lot of patience.
I'm a Notion creator. I would probably say being unique, and creating something that isn't already out there. The way I see it, this template business might go away. Hiring people to create personalized templates for you might be more prominent soon
ah, the challenges, they're the salt in the soup, aren't they?
from my perspective in the tech industry, especially the product-building side, the biggest challenge is the balance of depth and breadth. in one hand, we have the necessity to dive deep, master skills, grasp complex technologies, and create products that meet user needs with precision.
on the other hand, the breadth is just as important. technology, trends, user behaviors - they shift like sand dunes in a desert wind. to keep pace, one needs to have a finger on the pulse of a vast and varied landscape.
it's like being a surfer and a swimmer at the same time. ride the waves, but also dive deep when you need to.
the challenge, as ever, is to find the right balance, and remember, it's different for everyone.
peace,
Karim.
Lack of political engagement at the local level. Many people are aware of national issues but too often unaware of what is happening at the school board, city council, and county level.
As someone who works in crypto, Web3, etc. I think the regulations around them and the instability as a result. It's both "fun" and challenging at the same time
