I just pretend my phone doesn't exist and that my computer is a time machine that only travels to my deadline. Also, coffee helps. Lots and lots of coffee ☕️
@realvladgolub While it can be challenging to detach ourselves from our smartphones, overcoming this distraction can lead to a significant boost in productivity
I like to break my tasks into smaller, manageable chunks to avoid feeling overwhelmed. Secondly, setting specific goals and deadlines helps me stay on track and maintain a sense of urgency.
Minimize potential distractions by finding an organized workspace. This includes disabling notifications on your phone, computer, and other devices to avoid interruptions.
And avoid multitasking at all costs - focus on one task at a time and give it your full attention!
Here are some effective techniques I can use to overcome distractions and maintain focus for extended periods of time:
-To start the day positively, I avoid using my phone for at least an hour after waking up.
-I establish a consistent habit of engaging in at least 30 minutes of daily exercise, which helps me stay focused and energized.
-Dedicating 30 minutes each day to meditation allows me to centre myself, enhance my concentration, and improve my overall focus.
-Seeking inspiration from motivational or success-oriented videos and content that resonates with me helps keep me motivated and on track.
-I prioritize my tasks based on their importance and tackle them in order, focusing on one task at a time to avoid becoming overwhelmed.
-Setting personal deadlines adds a sense of urgency and helps me maintain concentration, ensuring that I complete tasks within specific timeframes.
I schedule specific blocks of time for different tasks or activities so that I can allocate dedicated periods for focused work. During these blocks, I eliminate distractions and commit fully to the task.
actually the company I'm working now (virtual office software co) have Focus mode, Do not Disturb mode, and Meeting mode, etc. So personally I haven't experience any distraction so far. wanna try out?
